DO WE HAVE A CD?
Yes - We have a hardcopy promo CD available to send out upon request.
Please email us at: info@theacousticduo.com.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
We are based in London but will travel to venues throughout the UK and Abroad.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
You will be getting two professional musicians at a very competitive price, performing pure acoustic arrangements of well known songs without backing tracks. 1 x guitarist + 1 x vocalist.
We have our own PA system so you do not need to hire one.
WILL I NEED A DJ?
As we are an acoustic duo, it is not your usual live band/DJ disco dancing atmosphere, so we do not provide a DJ option as such. If you are looking to have a disco atmosphere to end the evening, a DJ would be a great option to follow our live music or work in-between our sets for variety.
If having a DJ to play after us is not what you had in mind, then we can play music in between our sets via an iPod through the PA system at no extra cost to you and would still get your guests dancing.
Either way having a duo and/or a DJ would still be a more affordable option than hiring a full live band.
WHAT WILL WE WHERE AT YOUR EVENT?
Weddings & Private Functions - We will dress suitably for your event - for weddings this includes evening wear and smart dress.
I AM NOT SURE WHAT I WANT YET - CAN YOU HELP?
We are more than happy to offer ideas to help you structure your evening's entertainment and will liaise with you via a very personal service to get the music perfect for your event.
We will work around any special requirements you may have and are always happy to answer any questions.

SOUND REQUIREMENTS:
Power Supply for our PA system
Please let us know if a sound limiter* is fitted within the venue.
* Sound limiters are devices that are designed to monitor the sound in a venue and limit the maximum sound level that can be generated by sound equipment used by DJ's or Bands etc..
SPACE REQUIREMENTS AND YOUR VENUE:
If you are having a DJ or a full live band playing at any time, is there sufficient room at your venue for both to set up and perform?
Our minimum space requirement is approx 4 x 3 metres.
HOW LONG CAN WE PLAY FOR?
The standard set lengths in general are:
1 x 45 min set
2 x 45 min set
3 x 45 min set
NB// additions to this might be 1-2 songs performed during a wedding ceremony for example.
But we can also cover the following 1 x 60min, 2 x 60 mins - depending on how you are planning your event
Please find out more by filling in our ONLINE ENQUIRY FORM
SOUND CHECK?
We will need time before any guests arrive to set up our equipment and check the sound levels, (minimum of 30 mins). Ideally, it is best to have about 45mins, so that we can ensure the best sound quality and volume level suitable for the venue.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMISE THE REPERTOIRE?
Yes of course - feel free to look at our set list and select the songs you would most like to hear and veto any songs that you would rather not hear. One thing to bear in mind is that during the event we might adjust the set order slightly or songs, depending on dynamics, set pacing and audience reaction.
CAN WE LEARN A SPECIAL SONG OR SONGS THAT ARE NOT ON THE LIST?
We are happy to learn song(s) at your request, if you let us know no less than 14 days in advance so that we can prepare. Depending on your requirements you may be required to pay a small additional fee per song for this service, and if so, this will be included in your quote.
